The EuroTermBank project focuses on harmonisation and consolidation of
terminology work in new EU member states, transferring experience from other European
Union terminology networks and accumulating competencies and efforts of the accessed
countries. The project will result in a centralized online terminology bank for languages
of new EU member countries interlinked to other terminology banks and resources. Although
EuroTermBank is addressed directly towards Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, and
Poland, the project is open to other new EU member states and interested countries and
organizations outside EU.

Chapter 1. General Provisions
Article 1. A State enterprise is an independent, self-governing and
self-financing entrepreneur having legal personality.
Article 2. 1. The bodies of an enterprise take decisions on their own
and organize all activity pertaining to the enterprise in accordance with the provisions
of law and in order to carry out the enterprise’s tasks.
2. The authorities of the State may take decisions pertaining to the
activity of a State enterprise only in cases stipulated for by statutory law.
Article 3. 1. The Council of Ministers shall, by regulation, specify
the extent to which the provisions of this Act shall apply to enterprises subordinated to
the Minister of National Defence, the minister competent for public finance, and the
National Bank of Poland.
1a. The Council of Ministers may, by regulation, specify the detailed
rules and procedure of the activities of the enterprises referred to in paragraph 1 above
within the fields to which the provisions of this Act shall not apply under paragraph 1
above.
2. The Council of Ministers shall, by regulation, also specify the
extent to which the provisions of this Act shall apply to State enterprises whose tasks,
in whole or in the major part, are performed to meet the needs of the national defence and
the security of the State, as well as to organizational units of other enterprises
performing the said tasks.
Article 4. 1. The provisions of this Act, except where they stipulate
the National Court Register and the income commission a State enterprise, shall not apply
to:
1) repealed;
2) the State enterprise “Porty Lotnicze” (Airports);
